Biography

As with any young boy I played
in the dirt and the mud.  Come to
think of it I still play in the dirt
and the mud.  I have made my life’s
work creating using clay, stone
and concrete.  I have respect of the
limitless capabilities of these
elements.  Yet at the end of the day
it’s not work when you love what
you do!!!
  I transitioned from building high
lift structures to sculpting in
2004  I resigned as a Masonry
Foreman to sculpt. I used my skills
as a mason to create many
interesting and innovative
sculptures. Within three months of
sculpting my works were on
display at the 12 West Gallery.  I
also was represented by the Old
Pueblo West Gallery from 2007 to
2010.  Presently some of my works
may be viewed at Silver Cloud in
Sedona, Arizona.
  Recognition for my works
includes; participating in the
“Artist of Promise” at the Herberger
Theater in 2009.  In the valley my
sculptures have received Honors
such as Best of Show & 1st, 2nd
and two 3rd place ribbons.  In my
masonry career I received the 1999
Excellence in Masonry award for
building the WTC Robson Player
facility at A.S.U.
Artist Statement

I am very passionate about life and
the challenges it brings. I find in
creating, one exposes who they are at the
core. My path has been one of silencing
the stereotypes.  The works I create
contradicts who I am perceived to be.
